Friends of Poplar Primary School

Friends of Poplar Primary School Our main objective is to enhance the education of the children in the school. Poplar Primary has a thriving and dynamic Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

We raise funds to enable the school to purchase books, equipment and subsidise other educational activities (e.g. school outings), which benefit the children and improve the quality of their school life. We usually provide the sort of ‘extras’ that cannot normally be funded from the school budget. The PTA organises many events throughout the year such as our Summer Fair, Christmas Hamper raffle, q

uiz nights and regular cake sales, film nights and many others. The funds we have raised have contributed to:
- the new trim trail
- the new pavilion
- the nursery playground refurbishment and climbing frame
- improvements to the school library

Our families and summer fair attendees had so much fun learning new circus skills, spotting the amazing man on stilts, and being mesmerised by the giant bubbles. ✨🫧

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a fun-filled day. We loved seeing so many smiling faces and can't wait for the next adventure! ❤️🎉
