๐ SUMMER EXTRAVAGANZA โ WEEK 1 RECAP ๐
Alhamdulillah, what an incredible first week of Summer Extravaganza with Yaseen Youth! ๐
Over the past four days, our young people took part in a range of activities designed to strengthen their faith, build confidence, develop new skills and create lasting memories.
๐จ๐ Day 1: We kicked off the week with a creative spray-paint workshop, designing artwork for the shutters of our new centre and leaving our mark on a special community project. We then took part in a Salah Workshop, reflecting on the importance of prayer and strengthening our understanding of our daily salah.
๐ฏ Day 2: We headed to the paintball arena for a day full of teamwork, strategy and plenty of laughs.
๐๏ธ๐ณ Day 3: An action-packed day of karting and bowling brought out everyoneโs competitive spirit while creating unforgettable memories together.
๐ฅ๐งต Day 4: We started the day with a Health & Fitness Workshop, learning about balanced nutrition, healthy habits and looking after our wellbeing. We then finished the week with our Neasden weaving workshop, where everyone contributed to creating a unique community artwork through teamwork and creativity.
Alhamdulillah, itโs been a week full of faith, creativity, learning, friendship and fun. This is only the beginning... we canโt wait to see what Week 2 has in store inshallah! โจ
