Today, members of The Proud Science Alliance marched at the 7th annual Trans+ Pride in London 🏳️‍⚧️ - standing shoulder to shoulder with our trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex family in the health and life sciences sector.

The atmosphere was electric with love, rage, resistance, and unwavering hope.

We are not here for symbolic gestures. We are here because Trans+ Rights ARE Human Rights, and we will not stay silent as a wave of reactionary politics seeks to legislate the trans community out of existence.

We’re not going anywhere.

Despite the weather, The Proud Science Alliance joined over 60,000 people defying the rain at Leeds Pride today to celebrate our amazing LGBTQIA+ community. So much love and solidarity on display!

During Pride in London and running up to the event itself, we’re supporting fundraising efforts to bring LGBTQ+ activists from the Global South to the conference, ensuring their voices are heard and their work supported.

Just over a week ago, we came together for this year's incredible ! It was fantastic to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our Proud Science Alliance members, celebrating love, diversity, and acceptance.

A massive thank you to all our amazing colleagues from across health and life sciences who joined us for an unforgettable day. This year, more than ever, it was vital that we stood together, visible and vocal.

For when the world seeks to question our worth and our existence, we stand firm in knowing that we matter, Pride is in our DNA!
