💙 Volunteer Week 2026 💙

Behind every role at Voice4Change England is a person passionate about making a difference in their community.

Our colleagues volunteer their time supporting causes including prison rehabilitation, wildlife conservation, food banks, dementia support, educational access, horse rescue, disability inclusion, and survivor recovery programmes.

One volunteer shared:

"Volunteering helps me feel more connected to nature and more hopeful that I am making a small but meaningful difference."

Another reflected:

"It is a privilege to play a small part in helping someone feel seen, valued, and supported."

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who shared their stories and to all those who dedicate their time to helping others.

This Tuesday, our Deputy Director Dr. Sharmin Shajahan attended the London Hate Crime Sector Gathering, hosted by the University of Westminster and organised by 17-24-30 National Hate Crime Awareness Week (1184819) 🤝

The event brought together community groups, statutory services and practitioners to connect, share learning and shape future action on hate crime across London, covering everything from prevention to victim support and advocacy.

Sharmin had the opportunity to hear from the National Hate Crime Independent Advisory Group (IAG) and National HCAW, as well as contribute ideas to shape the London Hate Crime Stakeholder Reference Group's agenda for the next 18 months.

At V4CE, we believe a better-connected sector is a more effective one. Events like this remind us of the collective power we hold when we come together.
