Asylum exists to bring the love and acceptance of Christ to people from the various underground subcultures in London. But before you rush away in horror...we are not religious. We prefer to see ourselves as christi-anarchists. We are completely independent and non-denominational. We are aware that many in the sub-cultures have been deeply hurt by the insensitive, judgemental and hypocritical acti

ons of many churches and christians. We are trying our best to undo some of that damage (even though we do make mistakes coz we're human!) and hopefully with your help we'll succeed. We have no interest in judging people or forcing anything down anyone's throats. We are here for you and we accept you just as you are, just as Jesus does. It doesn't matter whether you profess to be a follower of Christ or not...EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME!

Magdalene Rose posted recently that “Several churches cancelled or asked for me not to play strictly based on the way I look and the music I play. I thought we were past this guys but recently it feels like there’s been more calls coming in from promoters because their churches want me off the shows, or they just completely cancel the shows because of the way I dress or the way my music sounds. Not one offered to speak with me or tried to understand why I create music the way I do.

Matthew 27:29: 31They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said. They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.

Joseph took Jesus body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and placed it in his own new tomb. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away.
The chief priests and Pharisees went to Pilate and said. “Sir, we remember while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After 3 days I will rise again.’ 64 So order for the tomb to be made secure until the 3rd day. Or, his disciples may come and steal the body and say he has been raised from the dead. “Take a guard,” Pilate said. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting guards.

Light The Dark is a rock and metal festival with a Christian foundation. Over two days, you'll meet some of the biggest bands in Christian rock and hard rock, that are not necessarily religious but have a positive uplifting message.
Light The Dark held its first festival in the spring of 2025, but is also an independent continuation of the metal festival Bobfest.
