World Meets China is a forum run by young professionals who are extremely passionate about China and who realised that a lack of dialogue restricts the benefits gained from the coexistence of China and the West. The forum comprises a series of China related topics that we believe are becoming ever more relevant to the UK & the West in this age of cultural diversity. We are here to engage with both
Chinese and Western people’s opinions and personal experiences of specific themes in order to get closer to a mutual understanding of each other. The range of topics covered in the series varies from cultural differences to the economy. The discussion topics will be chaired by individuals with relevant expertise and experiences both in China and West. The World Meets China project encourages everyone to join in and be part of the discussion of a hugely significant global phenomenon, and aims to provide a unique opportunity to hear both sides of the story. We are true believers in the active participation of our audience no matter where they are in the world or what social media tools they are using. Every opinion is a great indicator of real life questions and concerns that are worth investigating and discussing in public. Therefore, we strongly encourage people to contribute their opinions and be part of the forum’s making. We don’t care who you are, your curiosity and your interest is all we ask for.
