Isle of Dogs Voices A diverse mix of people, who meet weekly to share singing, & explore music from all over the world.

We perform regularly at concerts and community events, but their biggest joy is the strong community that they, themselves have become. The Isle of Dogs Community Choir is directed by Richie Ekila. Rehearsing weekly with one clear aim: to unite all sorts of people from across the whole island in singing together for fun. Since their debut at The Space last Summer the Isle of Dogs Community Choir has gone from strength to strength; during the past year they have sung at Christ Church, Cubitt Town Library, East Wintergarden, the Royal Festival Hall, and have also composed their own music as part of the ‘Creative Cities’ project with Trinity College of Music. They are proud of the Isle of Dogs, proud of their singing, and proud of the high quality of homemade cake at the end of each rehearsal!
