Public Notice: Unauthorised Stallholder Communications
Shrewsbury House Community Association has been made aware that some local makers and small businesses have recently received messages inviting them to apply for stalls at a “Shrewsbury House Community Centre Christmas Fair”, including requests for payment.
We would like to clarify that while many classes, activities, and sessions at Shrewsbury House are run independently by external hirers, all Shrewsbury House–organised events — including our Christmas Fair — are managed directly by our staff team. Only Shrewsbury House Community Association is authorised to communicate with stallholders or collect stall fees for our events.
If you have received any communication about stall bookings that did not come from an official Shrewsbury House email address (ending in .org), please do not respond or make any payments. Instead, contact us immediately at [email protected] or 020 8854 3895.
We are currently investigating this matter and taking appropriate steps to protect our stallholders, the community, and the integrity of our events.
