🐾✨ STAR WANTED (WITH FOUR PAWS!) ✨🐾

Our upcoming production of ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ is on the lookout for a very special cast member… a well-behaved, friendly dog to take to the stage with us! 🎭

Ideally we are looking for an Old English Sheepdog, however if they are a different, large, furry breed, well-behaved and love a bit of attention then this could be their moment to shine! 🌟

Does your dog stay calm around people and enjoy a bit of spotlight? Are they good with people of all ages? 🐕

Are they comfortable on and off a lead? Are they (and their “chapuperone”) available for all of our performance and rehearsal dates? 🎭

🐶 Rehearsals from dates in May which include Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings
🐶 Technical rehearsal on Monday 1st June
🐶 Dress rehearsal on Tuesday 2nd June
🐶 All performances from 3rd to 6th June 2026

We are SO proud to announce that 9 of our lovely Lyric Club members will be taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk (the 22.7 miles mighty stride) on Sunday 26th April from Glasgow Green to Balloch 💪🏼

The Lyric Club have chosen to support Alzheimer Scotland as our chosen charity for this year and we are hoping to raise as much as we can over our rehearsal season up until and including our ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ show week in June. This charity is very personal to some of our members who have family or close friends affected by this heartbreaking disease and so we hope that our efforts will help this amazing charity to continue to provide support, help and advice to those who need it. 💜

Introducing our TRULY talented young stars! 🌟

We were absolutely blown away by the confidence and how wonderful every single child who auditioned for us over the last 2 weekends was! We can’t thank them and their supportive adults enough 🫶🏻

From over 100 kids… we give to you our Jeremy’s/Jemima’s and ensemble! 🎭

Our kids cast will know soon which shows they will be performing in over the week, keep your eyes peeled! 🎫

The most amazing day and turnout for our kids auditions on Saturday! We were quite literally blown away with the level of talent and each and every one of you should be super proud of yourselves, the size of the kids with the amount of confidence and courage shown was outstanding 🎭

We hope you enjoyed your day, led by our fab production team, as much as we did! 🫶🏻

Words can’t describe how proud we were last night watching 30 of our amazing cast members take part in the 👑

Especially Nathan Ogston, our Marius and Alan Currie, our Valjean with featured roles in One Day More and Bring Him Home 😍

Congratulations to each and every one of them and thank you for representing Glasgow, as well as having this once in a lifetime experience with such a wealth of talent from across the UK 🎭

Being part of Let the People Sing and celebrating the 40th anniversary of the world’s most iconic musical has been an absolute honour, we are signing off 2025 on a high! 🌟
