We appreciate each and every one of our volunteers here at Home-Start Barnet, Brent, and Harrow!

Our staff wanted to let our volunteers know how much we appreciate their commitment, passion, and care in supporting our families and children!

From supporting 1-to-1 with families and children, at playgroups every week, and with admin, our volunteers provide an outstanding level of emotional and practical support for our families and we just couldn't do it without them!

We're delighted to welcome Cathy and Clover to Home-Start Barnet, Brent,
and Harrow!

Cathy, who joined late last year, works closely with our families and runs two of our playgroups in Barnet. She supports families and volunteers and leads playgroups with under 5s. Cathy will continue to focus on bridging our families with their local community.

Clover, who joined early this year, will soon begin workshops supporting families with school readiness along with 1-to-1 support. She is excited to share and guide families as their children start school and provide the support our families deserve!

Here's what a normal day in the life of a Home Start Barnet, Brent, and Harrow Family Support Coordinator looks like!

From planning family visits, to scheduling matches for support to begin, to calling volunteers and checking in with families, our Family Support Coordinators are busy working in the background as the support is led in the front.

We hope this little inside peak gives you an idea of what it takes for Home Start to run as a befriending support system to many!

We run 3 groups for our families in Barnet and Harrow, as seen above.

Our groups are open for weekly drop-ins for families with children aged under 5 to play, explore and learn!
