We’re incredibly grateful to Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice for these kind words about our partnership:

Jo said: “It’s hard to reflect on our partnership with Miracles without feeling quite emotional. They are consistently there to support us at the moments when help is needed most. James and his team exude kindness and compassion, and they truly understand the urgency of need whenever we approach them. They have taken the time to really get to know our charity, and this is reflected in the thoughtful and tailored support they provide to our families. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do for our children and families during times of crisis.”

When a child is hospitalised, the costs don’t stop at medical care.
Travel, parking, food, higher energy bills, childcare and lost income can quickly pile up, turning an already traumatic situation into financial crisis.

We provide practical support so parents can focus on what matters most: being there for their child.

Small charities like Miracles / Feed London will always struggle to be heard. So to be welcomed and supported by a world-famous organisation like Liberty feels genuinely extraordinary.

Three years ago, Liberty told us that Feed London had been chosen as their charity partner for 2023. It was overwhelming news — not only because it meant a year of support for our fledgling project, but because they immediately understood the power of a simple idea: that fresh food, practical help and dignity can make a real difference to London families facing poverty and crisis.

They also understood what makes small charities powerful. We work close to the communities we serve, respond quickly, and deliver practical support directly to families who need it most. That closeness to the people we support is a large part of what makes our work effective.

Just a month ago, over a pot of tea in Liberty’s delightful first-floor café, the wonderful team there — led by Alice McDonald, General Counsel and Director of CSR, and Stacey Pham Allcott, Head of CSR — told me they would like to support us for another year, making it four consecutive years of partnership.

Over that time, Liberty’s support will have helped us reach more than 3,700 London families facing significant poverty, food poverty and crisis — supporting over 9,250 children, delivering more than 88,000 meals, over £210,000 in supermarket vouchers, and thousands of wonderful donated treats and activities, including books, games and Christmas gifts from Liberty.

Liberty is full of some of the kindest and most generous people I have had the pleasure to work with.

From all the families they have supported — and will continue to support this year — thank you. Thank you for caring enough to make such a difference.

If you find yourself at the top of Regent Street, do drop into Liberty — head up to the café, and over a pot of tea take a moment to reflect on the difference they are making in the lives of local London families. xx

When a child is unwell, everyday life becomes more expensive overnight. From heating and food to travel and childcare, the costs quickly build, often at the same time income falls as parents give up work to be by their child’s side. We’re here to help families through that gap.

You weren’t supposed to meet your baby like this- through the walls of an incubator.

Premature birth brings long days on neonatal wards, time off work, and rising costs for travel, food, specialist supplies and parking.

For some families, there is no safety net. When income stops and costs climb, the financial strain can quickly become overwhelming- on top of an already traumatic experience.

We provide practical support so families can focus on being there during their baby’s earliest days.

At just five months old, Reggie was admitted to Great Ormond Street Hospital when his kidneys began to fail. With Mum on maternity leave and Dad self-employed, the long hospital stays quickly meant lost income, high travel costs and growing financial pressure. Even affording the basics became difficult.

Sadly, Reggie’s story isn’t rare. Hospital stays often push families into crisis as costs mount and parents are forced to choose between essential care and everyday necessities.

At Miracles, we step in with practical support so no family has to choose between their child’s recovery and a full fridge. The right help at the right moment can make all the difference.
