Vesak commemorates the three pivotal milestones in the life of Gautama Buddha - His Birth, Enlightenment, and Parinibbāna - and is observed with deep reverence and devotion by millions of Buddhists across the world.

On this sacred day, Buddhists traditionally engage in both Āmisa Pūjā (offerings) and Paṭipatti Pūjā (practising the Dhamma), honouring a rich and timeless spiritual heritage. Among Buddhist communities worldwide, Sri Lanka is especially blessed with a vibrant and colourful Vesak tradition - one that continues to strengthen the Buddha Sāsana and inspire generations to come.

📸 APF-UK 1st AGM – 14 December 2025

The Ananda Professionals Forum UK (APF-UK) successfully held its first Annual General Meeting on 14 December 2025.

It was a meaningful occasion where members came together to reflect on our inaugural year, review achievements, and discuss future plans to support under-privileged school children in remote areas of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰✨.

The evening concluded with a warm dinner reception, providing a wonderful opportunity to meet, greet, and reminisce about our journey so far.

A heartfelt thank you to all members, volunteers, and supporters who made this milestone event a success. We look forward to continuing this journey together.
