RAMADAN START CONFIRMED - WEDNESDAY 18TH FEBRUARY

Positive moonsighting results from Saudi confirm tomorrow, Wednesday 18th February, to be the first day of Ramadan. Taraweeh begins tonight.

The last ten nights and subsequent dates will be:

- 21st Night: Night of Monday 9th March
- 23rd Night: Night of Wednesday 11th March
- 25th Night: Night of Friday 13th March
- 27th Night: Night of Sunday 15th March
- 29th Night: Night of Tuesday 17th March

Eid al-Fitr: Either Thursday 19th March or Friday 20th March (depending on moonsighting).

Ramadan Mubarak! May Allah accept everyone's fasting, prayer, charity, Quran recitation, and every other good deed in this blessed month.
