The cases of child abuse and violation of their rights are insurmountable in the spheres of our communities. Abuses and violations of children’s rights are derived from diverse cases.
• Victims of prejudice, children that are accused of being witches, in third-world countries, and madly maltreated
• Teenage boys and girls trap in sexual trade worldwide and are constantly violated sexually
either through heterosexuality or homosexuality
• Children that are beaten at home and in schools, in third-world countries, like convicted criminals in the name of discipline
• Former child soldiers abandoned
• Children that are put in prison without proper care, and are also constantly violated sexually either through heterosexuality or homosexuality
• Under-privilege children, in third-world countries, whose parents can not afford to pay for their schooling, are given to upper-class families for the sake of sound education but instead are subjected to dreadful abuses.
• Children that are casualties of alcoholism, drug consumption and gangsterism. Our Campaign
We campaigned and help children that fall under those categories above. Our campaign is based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child Adopted and opened for signature, ratification, and accession by General Assembly resolution 44/25 of 20 November 1989, Entry into force 2nd September 1990, in accordance with article 49. The Convention
In 1989, world leaders decided that children needed a special convention just for them because people under 18 years old often need special care and protection that adults do not. The Convention sets out these rights in 54 articles and two Optional Protocols. It spells out the basic human rights that children everywhere have: the right to survival; to develop to the fullest; to protection from harmful influences, abuse, and exploitation; and to participate fully in family, cultural and social life. Every right spelt out in the Convention is inherent to the human dignity and harmonious development of every child. The Convention protects children's rights by setting standards in health care; education; civil, and social services. Our vision
Our vision is to campaign and help to better the lives of children in difficult circumstances and addressed the way the violations and abuses of their rights are tackled. Highlight the importance of intervening early to help children with emerging issues before they become long-term problems. Persuade governments to think hard about how best to meet the needs of children, according to the Convention Of The Rights Of The Child. Help
