Archive of the Irish in Britain The aim is to create a representative record of the experiences of the Irish in Britain. Contact: [email protected]

Based in the London Metropolitan University, this unique collection of documents, audio and video recordings, books, photographs and ephemera catalogues the history of the Irish in Britain from the late nineteenth century to the present day. The archive was begun by the Irish in Britain History Group, and was donated to the Irish Studies Centre at the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University) in 1991, who have continued to develop and expand the collection.
