Huge thanks to everyone who supported our raffle and auction at the ESEA Diversity Football Tournament at the Silver Jubilee Park Stadium on 19 July. Today is International Nurses' Day. In the UK, nurses are as diversified as they come. Definitely something to celebrate! The UK Chinese communities are very fortunate to have their own Cantonese and Mandarin speaking Admiral Nurse Dementia Clinic, a now permanent service first experimented as a two-year pilot co-managed by CWT and Dementia UK. After a year-long maternity leave taken by our very first Admiral Nurse Emily, the Clinic will soon be relaunched and she will be joined by the second Chinese-speaking Admiral Nurse Kay. More details on the relaunch will be publicised soon, so watch this space!
