The Students' Union is a democratic organisation that exists to represent student views to the University and to provide support to help students get the most from their university experience. The student body is represented by the education officer, wellbeing and community officer, and the activities and opportunities officer. They direct and lead the Student's Union to make sure the student voic
e is heard. The Students Union offers academic advice, student-led societies, events, and representation for students to the university, in the form of course and school reps
As a student at the University of East London, you automatically become a member of the Students' Union when you enrol. This means that students can get involved in all our activities, by joining one of our student groups, societies or community groups, by being an elected course rep, school rep, or student group committee member. Come along to our events and make some new friends. Share your ideas with us about how your university experience could be improved. Or, tell us what you want us to be lobbying the university about - we're here to stand up for the rights of students at the University of East London.
