OCTOBER = BLACK HISTORY MONTH! ✊🏾

For us, inclusion isn’t just a seasonal focus. It’s at the heart of everything we do. Black History Month gives us a dedicated space to reflect, educate ourselves, and elevate the voices and stories within our community.

Bridging the music gap! 🎼

'The studio refurbishment has significantly improved our recording capabilities, providing young people with a more professional recording environment. They can now record high-quality music in our new and improved booth, while our technician is able to mix and master their tracks to a much higher standard. The addition of soft lighting and improved acoustic dampening has also made the space more accessible and comfortable for young people with sensory needs, creating a more inclusive environment for them to express themselves creatively' Conor McCarthy, Senior Youth Worker at SkyWay Charity

We are excited to announce that through the Ministry Of Housing, Communities and Local Government's Common Ground Award, we have been able to completely renovate our Blue Hut studio. Fit with updated software, inclusive controls and varied studio lighting, anyone, regardless of their background or level of experience can come to a session and have a bash!

Also a big thanks to Jean-Guy who played a big part in the project and utilised his expertise to make the studio what it is today!

Oui Oui France! 🗼

With the help of some funding, we will be taking several of our youth board members to France for a fun day trip! Last week, a few of our members got together to confirm the logistics of the trip and even set themselves the challenge of learning some French in the run up.
