📣 The ITI London Regional Group is pleased to announce the first of our events for 2026.

Join us for an engaging evening with Dr Joseph Lambert (Cardiff University) and Dr Callum Walker (University of Leeds), co-editors of The Routledge Handbook of the Translation Industry.

Based on their research findings, the speakers will present the current state and future prospects of the translation industry in what promises to be an event of vital interest to all translators and interpreters working today.

The format will be a lecture followed by group discussions. Only the lecture part will be livestreamed.

The ITI London Regional Group turns 30!!

This year, we are getting 2 for 1, as we’ll be celebrating the LRG’s 30th Anniversary, together with our usual Christmas bash.

The LRG evolved from RICE, the Really Informal Coffee Evening, which brought together a group of translators and interpreters living in West London. Over the years, the LRG has developed a regular, year-round programme of valuable CPD and relaxed social events.

To celebrate, we’ll have a great Christmas buffet, plus a 30th Anniversary cake, and some bubbly.

The evening will also be the occasion to say farewell to the LRG’s current chairman, Pamela Mayorcas, retiring after many years in the role and to thank the LRG Committee who create, promote and run the Group’s events programme.

Come raise a glass with us!

The ITI London Regional Group turns 30!!
