Girls United is an organisation that fights for a world with a level playing field, on and off the pitch – using football as a tool for the empowerment of individuals and to promote gender equality. We set-up clubs and programmes in local communities that create safe spaces for football practices that go beyond the technical and tactical by using our Girls United Methodology, to develop confident leaders and role models. We provide players with the opportunity to succeed on and off the pitch by developing life skills that allow them to find their voices and pursue their ambitions in sport, education and in their careers.

Swipe through some of our favourite moments from the London International Camp 📸

13 girls aged 13 to 16 arrived as strangers from three different countries and left as teammates. Training sessions, stadium tours, career workshops and two matches against local teams filled the 10 days, but it was the connections built off the pitch that made this camp so special.

Every single participant received a full or partial scholarship, so cost was never a barrier.

This is only the beginning. See you in 2027 for the World Cup Edition 🌍⚽

Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible: Abigail Ingram, Girls United
Abraham Richard-Tagoe, Charlton Athletic Head Coach U16 Women’s
Emma Wells, Arsenal
Flo Lloyd-Huges, The Cutback
Havana McElvaine, Love City Leadership Academy
Katie Hannam BEM, FCDO
Marc Churchhouse, Mercator Digital
Matilda Thaddeus-Johns and Sana Amin, Wembley Stadium Foundation
Sian Fitzpatrick, Regional Talent ID Coach for England Women’s Pathway
