It was on this day 2022 that the world heard about the passing of our late Queen Elizabeth II
Sea Rangers knew Her Majesty when in her early years she was a proud Sea Ranger.
We will always remember her dedication to service, loyalty and kindness throughout her life, and we will always try to lead by her example.

It's National Volunteers Week! A time to remember and thank the wonderful people that support and help our association. All our adults give their time voluntary, be it running crews, instructors, admin roles, fundraising or that extra support on trips or camps. It's also thanks to our association's background support, from our council of management to individuals dealing with pubilicity, uniform sales, policies and safety, this list is endless.
Each and every one of you are valued.
Thank you !

With the bank holiday going to be a hot one, if you're by the water remember water safety.

With warm weather forecast this weekend and into next week, more of us will enjoy spending time in, on, or around water, so it’s important to stay safe.

Almost half (47%) of UK accidental drownings happen between May and August, with higher risks during warmer weather.

Keep yourself and your family safe:
• Check for hazards, including depth, currents, tides, and hidden underwater objects.
• Stay together and swim in lifeguarded areas.

In an emergency:
• Call 999 immediately
• If you fall in or become tired, stay calm, float on your back, and call for help
