A dear friend of the Charity, Angela Feather, is currently running a campaign on the 20th anniversary of the death of her beloved daughter, Helen. The campaign aims to raise money for the ICVI to fund new trials into a promising cancer drug. For more information please visit https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/helenfeather/ or text HIGH5 to 70970 to donate £5.

We are remembering Helen 20 years after she lost her 10 year battle against cancer by raising further funds for Professor Dalgleish's pioneering cancer research. His early research helped extend Helen's life.

After the success of the last one we will be doing another Reddit AMA where anyone has the opportunity to ask one of our researchers anything!

This Wednesday Dr. Pete Smith, a researcher on our team with a specific interest in how we can boost the immune system to fight cancer, will be answering questions. If you'd like to take part we will be posting the link here on Wednesday at around Midday!

This is a Prostate tumour organoid grown in our laboratory by the newest ICVI PhD student, Aurora Campagna. This image shows a cluster of prostate cancer cells organising themselves into a lobed structure that mimics the complex architecture of a solid tumour. This technology will allow us to investigate the way in which we can improve the infiltration of solid tumours by immune killer cells.
