We've had lots of schools sign up for, and take part in, our fantastic project we’re delivering in partnership with Guildhall Art Gallery and supported by the City of London Corporation's Cultural & Creative Learning Fund.

Women in the Picture is a free, curriculum-linked workshop for KS1 and KS2, running in Guildhall’s stunning main gallery from March to July 2026. Through art, movement, drama and music, pupils explore the lives of trailblazing women like Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Emily Davies, and the role creativity has played in social change.

Children get:

- Real stories of resilience, rights and social change
- Strong links to History, PSHE and spoken language
- A guided gallery tour plus a practical performing arts workshop
- Space to talk about identity, equality and representation, past and present

Are you a performing artist who wants to spark more creative joy in primary schools?

We're hiring creative learning specialists to join our team in London and the West Midlands.

We bring music, drama and dance into primary school classrooms, linking the performing arts to curriculum learning in a way that genuinely changes how children experience school and has a proven impact on building children's language skills, confidence, engagement and wellbeing.

You'd be working with the same schools each week throughout the academic year, building real relationships and seeing the impact of your work first hand. You'll receive award-winning training and a mentor to guide you through your Artis journey.

Deadline: Friday 1 May at 9am.
