At the world’s leading conference on proton and particle therapy, PTCOG64, Dr Philip Blumenfeld presented Hadassah’s research on proton therapy for complex lung cancer patients requiring re-irradiation.

Conducted in collaboration with P-Cure Ltd, the study highlights how proton therapy may offer greater precision while helping protect healthy lung tissue.

Hadassah is advancing ophthalmology research with a new study published in *Eye* - the official journal of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

*A publication established in 1881 as the Transactions of the Ophthalmological Societies of the United Kingdom. Eye is published by Springer Nature, who publish trusted research and support the development of new ideas and champion open science.*

The research found that near-infrared OCT imaging provides more reliable pupil measurements than smartphone photography, particularly for patients with darker irises, offering a practical way to improve the diagnosis and monitoring of anisocoria.

This study highlights Hadassah’s continued commitment to clinical innovation and developing more accurate, accessible and patient-centred care.
