Thank you to The Times for highlighting the increased pressure and strain facing many serving and retired Church of England clergy.

Clergy are serving more Churches, communities and people than they have before, and stretching themselves too thin can lead to exhaustion and burnout.

Our friends at Sarum College, a theological education institution in Salisbury, are offering opportunities for and to access much-needed respite.

Bursaries covering up to 100% of the total cost of a stay at the college are available to those who are currently experiencing burnout or fatigue, a pivotal life change, have been recently bereaved or are facing similar challenges in their lives.

Clergy dedicate their lives to supporting others, and often don't have the time to support themselves. That's why making space for a well-deserved, much-needed break, retreat or sabbatical is so important.
