Today is International Day of Older Persons, a chance to celebrate later life in all its possibilities 🎉

At u3a, getting older doesn’t mean becoming less curious, less connected or less adventurous. From discovering new interests and making new friends to sharing skills and giving something back, there’s always more to learn, laugh about and live for.

Run the TCS London Marathon with u3a! 🏃‍♂️

We're looking for two runners to run the TCS London Marathon for Team u3a on Sunday 25 April 2027. You'll be running to raise money for the Third Age Trust as you, helping people in later life find community and connection through learning.

What a welcome from Milton Keynes u3a!

Our Head of Marketing, Sam Dukes, joined incoming Chair Elizabeth Sheldon and the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Paul Trendall, for Milton Keynes u3a Day.
And what a u3a to celebrate: 1,300+ members, more than 100 groups, and a packed day showcasing everything from photography, Mah Jong and Shakespeare to live performances from the choir, ukulele and play reading groups.

A brilliant example of u3a in action - welcoming, vibrant and full of opportunities to learn, connect and enjoy new experiences.

u3a Rewind is a new project that will create a unique archive of everyday cultural history, capturing the defining experiences and memories of u3a members.

What music did you grow up with? Which subcultures, communities, or scenes shaped who you became? We want to hear your stories, and we want to know the songs behind them. Submit your favourite track from your younger years for the chance to have it added to the official u3a Rewind Spotify playlist.
