What a day 4 📢
The entire delegation went out onto the streets of Blackpool & marched to the front of the Blackpool Tower supporting the SSSNB campaign, in solidarity with our school support staff members.

As we start the final few hours of Congress Order of Business the rain has arrived ☔️ Karen, our Branch President, delivered her final SoC Report No.9.

Karen & Dee will produce a Post Congress report that will be available at the next Branch Meeting so please get in touch to join the meeting & here what Congress agreed to carry forward in the fight of making work better

Day 3 saw our rep Dee delivering her personal & powerful speech on her IVF journey without the support of any leave entitlement. Congress agreed to the CEC moving forward with the motion to campaign employers to adopt the ‘Fertility Support Pledge’

This morning Congress is conducting the order of business & this afternoon (weather permitting) the entire delegation is out on march around Blackpool campaigning for the reinstatement of the SSSNB 🧡
