This victory is not mine alone — it is our win, a testament to the strength of our union and the trust you have placed in me.
To those who placed their early trust in me and took a chance, thank you for your faith and confidence. Your belief in my ability to lead inspires me to give my all. To those who offered sage advice along the way, your guidance has been invaluable and will continue to shape my approach as I step into this role.
I recognise that there is much for me to learn in these early stages, but I promise to meet every challenge with determination and a commitment to give 100 percent. I will approach this role with professionalism, and I will uphold the principles of respect, common sense, and sound judgment. Most importantly, I will respect unequivocally the rule book that governs and unites us.
