💚 World Mental Health Day – Saturday 10 October
This World Mental Health Day, we want to help make sure everyone knows where to turn for mental health support — whether you need help yourself or you’re worried about someone else.
There are different types of support available depending on what you need:
📞 Urgent mental health support: Call NHS 111 and select the mental health option. This is available 24/7 for people of all ages.
💬 South London Crisis Text Service: WhatsApp 0303 330 1511, available 24/7.
👧 Children & young people: The CAMHS Crisis Line is available on 020 3228 5980, every day from 9am–11pm.
🚨 Emergency: If there is an immediate risk to life, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.
🌱 Non-urgent support: Your GP, NHS Talking Therapies, Every Mind Matters and Together all can all provide support.
There is also a “Know who to turn to in your community” directory, bringing together trusted organisations and community groups across Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth.
💚 Knowing where to turn can make a difference. Please share this post so the information reaches someone who may need it.
