Explore the kaleidoscopic, surreal and sometimes macabre world of MURUGIAH, in his first ever solo exhibition.

MURUGIAH: Ever Feel Like… will explore identity and mental health through vibrant prints, paintings and sculptures that bring together an eclectic love of Hollywood film, sci-fi and 2000s era pop-punk. His work draws upon his Sri Lankan heritage and Welsh upbringing, merging deeply personal themes with joyful, unapologetic expression.

Visit the Quentin Blake Centre from May to immerse yourself in MURUGIAH’s weird and wonderful world. What surprises will you discover hidden among his fantastical creatures and hypnotic patterns?

🎭 The play’s the thing… and we were there to see it!

Last night our trustees joined the audience for the National Theatre’s press night of Hamlet, a fearless and darkly funny reimagining of Shakespeare’s tragedy.

Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera made history as the first actor of Asian heritage to play Hamlet on the National Theatre stage, bringing magnetic depth to the young prince in a production directed by Robert Hastie. 🌟

Described as "Sharp, stylish and darkly funny" (All That Dazzles) and Abeysekera as "marvellous" (London Theatre), this landmark staging forms part of the first season led by Artistic Director and Co-Chief Executive Indhu Rubasingham.

As proud supporters of this production and of Indhu’s vision, the Bagri Foundation was honoured to witness the historic performance—and we can’t wait for more audiences to revel in a timeless tale that asks the ultimate question… you know the one.

Congratulations to all the cast and crew!
