UAID joins BOA Join In!
Together with the wonderful Ukrainian community in Bradford-on-Avon, .intl volunteers joined more than 30 local organisations today to celebrate the life of various community groups in the region.

Our volunteers showcased themselves to the community and shared information about UAID’s charitable projects.

As you can see there were delicious treats and warm and welcoming atmosphere around the Ukrainian stalls.

And as usual - the highlight of the Ukrainian stalls was a collection of artworks - mini sculptures which were in essence the fragments of the russian missiles painted over by a Ukrainian artist from Ivano-Frankivsk Tetiana Frei - a symbol of resilience and victory of beauty and good over evil.

Thank you everyone - and especially our top volunteer - so much for your continued support!

All funds raised will be used in aid of communities and hospitals affected by the war in Ukraine. 🇺🇦

A Charity Concert for Ukraine's Medical Aid - MONDAY 13 JULY
We're launching a new CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN.
THE AIM OF THIS CAMPAIGN
We are raising funds to support medical aid in Ukraine through a special charitable reception and concert at St John's Waterloo Church in London featuring internationally acclaimed Ukrainian pianist and composer Vadim Neselovskyi together with the Ysaÿe Trio

Created as an act of cultural solidarity with Ukraine during wartime, this unique evening will combine extraordinary music with meaningful humanitarian impact.

This campaign supports the essential logistical costs required to stage the charity concert which will be used to raise funds for urgently needed medical aid in Ukraine. It's run on behalf of UAID International, a UK-based charitable not-for-profit organisation supporting humanitarian and medical aid initiatives in Ukraine.

The concert itself will then generate substantially greater support: all proceeds from the concert's ticket sales will go directly towards UAID’s fundraising efforts for "M Corporation", a charity foundation in Odesa, supporting urgently needed medical supplies and equipment in Ukraine.

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS
Vadim Neselovskyi is one of the most celebrated Ukrainian jazz and contemporary musicians of his generation. An Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music (USA), he has performed at major festivals and concert halls across Europe and internationally. His music combines extraordinary virtuosity with profound emotional and cultural storytelling.

His recent work, Perseverantia, created in response to the experience of war in Ukraine, has been widely praised for its emotional depth, humanity, and artistic courage. The music reflects resilience, grief, memory, and hope — offering audiences a deeply moving artistic response to the realities of war.

This London performance of Perseverantia will be more than a concert. It will be an evening of solidarity, reflection and support for the people of Ukraine during an extraordinarily difficult time.

BREAKDOWN OF COSTS
Every contribution, no matter the size, will help bring this important event to life and support vital humanitarian aid efforts in Ukraine.

The fundraising target covers the essential production and logistical costs required to organise the charitable concert.

All musicians are participating voluntarily and performing without a fee. Any surplus funds raised beyond the essential event costs will be directed towards medical aid in Ukraine.

Estimated Project Costs

* International travel for 4 musicians: approximately £800–1,000

* Accommodation in London (2 nights for 4 musicians): approximately £800–1,000

* Local hospitality and subsistence costs (3 days, 4 people): approximately £600

* Additional venue hire and rehearsal costs: approximately £250

* Piano tuning for the performance: approximately £125

These costs make possible a significant charitable cultural event expected to generate substantially greater support for medical aid in Ukraine through ticket sales, donations and wider public engagement.

NO DONATION IS SMALL.

Thank you for your support!

A night to remember. 💙💛 JAZZ FOR UKRAINE
We are still overwhelmed with gratitude & such a beautiful evening filled with music & compassion for 🇺🇦.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, donated, volunteered, performed & created such a warm & unforgettable atmosphere.

Special thanks to & the Vicar Liz Barnett for opening your space & hearts to us, and to Gemma Rose for her invaluable help with logistics.

Deepest gratitude to our extraordinary musicians for donating their talent & time & creating such a powerful evening of music: Stevenson, Steve Foster, Katrina Likhtman (vocals), Maff Potts (keys), Kyrylo Avilov (sax)
Robert Otwinowski (guitar), Steve Kershaw (bass) & Ben Robins (drums).

And very special thanks to our “jazz royalty” guest artist Claire Martin OBE for joining us & making the evening even more memorable.

Huge gratitude to our incredible volunteer Zhenia, who project managed the entire event with extraordinary dedication & calmness throughout.

Thank you to the wonderful , .cr2 Anna & Serhii for helping with the raffle & souvenirs; to & Natalia Lohvynenko for the delectable pastries; to Manuel Ibanez and Jones for capturing the evening so beautifully through his photographs; & to Anna for helping us set everything up.

And of course - thank you to our sensational audience. You made the evening what it was.

The second half of the concert was performed without stage lighting, in solidarity with the people of Ukraine ✊🏼🇺🇦 & in the spirit of the jazz community 🎷😎. In that unexpected darkness came some of the evening’s most moving moments - audience members lifting their phone lights to illuminate the stage, creating an atmosphere of intimacy, kindness & togetherness we will never forget.

We were also touched by the generosity shown during the raffle, with prize winners exchanging & gifting prizes to one another. Small gestures that said so much about the spirit of the evening.

Together, we raised £1,932. All proceeds will fund an ambulance for 🇺🇦.

Thank you for these beautiful moments of humanity, compassion and solidarity.

Thanks to your support, 170 kg of medical and humanitarian aid has now arrived at Konotop Central District Hospital 💪🇺🇦

The Uaid Intl UAID International team received these photos and videos from the hospital just days before russian drone attacks caused significant damage to the facility.

Thanks to your generosity, essential medical supplies - including a large number of catheters and other urgently needed equipment - will now support doctors and help save lives in Konotop.
In moments like these, continuing to help matters more than ever.

Here’s the translation of the message you hear in the video:
“Greetings! The Konotop Central District Hospital named after academician Davydov have received humanitarian aid from UAID International including essential care supplies, parenteral nutrition and many other urgently needed medical and support items”.

A heartfelt thank you to all our donors, supporters, volunteers - especially @ Svit Lana - and everyone who made this delivery possible. 💙💛

Special thanks to for kindly storing these supplies while we organised logistics - your support truly made a difference.
