Just a few weeks ago, Angela couldn’t run for more than a couple of minutes. Now she’s completed her very first one-hour run – an incredible milestone!

Go, Angela! 🎉 Just 62 days to go until race day. We’re cheering you on every step of the way! LINK IN OUR BIO!

Financial stress can have a huge impact on our mental wellbeing. If you’re feeling the pressure this summer, you’re not alone. Here’s a list of places where kids can eat free or for discounted rate to help stretch the budget. Please share with anyone who might benefit. 💙

We recently had our CAPE Away Day. Traditionally, these days focus on our operational needs whether that’s safeguarding, policies, or strategically planning for the year ahead. This time, however, our CEO, Angela, recognised that what we really needed was a day away from work, dedicated to connection, teamwork, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

Working in this sector isn’t easy. Whether you’re on the frontline supporting clients every day or working behind the scenes to keep CAPE running, it’s intense. We pride ourselves on being a team that supports one another, because if you can’t have a positive work environment, what do you have?

So, we headed to the River Thames in Richmond for paddleboarding, enjoyed a picnic in the park, took on a fun photo challenge, and rounded off the day with a lovely dinner at Sebastian’s in Richmond.

As we reflected on the day together, one thing everyone agreed on was simple: we had fun.

Sometimes the best way to strengthen a team isn’t another meeting or strategy session it’s making time to connect, laugh, and create memories together. 🙏

We’re incredibly proud to announce that CAPE has been selected as one of only 10 organisations to help deliver the new Crisis and Resilience Fund across the borough.

This is an exciting opportunity for us to continue supporting individuals facing financial hardship while working alongside Ealing Council and our partner organisations to strengthen community resilience. Being chosen to deliver this important programme reflects our commitment to providing trusted, accessible support to those who need it most.

Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing more information, including who will be eligible, the support available, and how residents can access it.

We’re excited to bring you more updates soon!

As a mental health charity, we wanted to share some important facts and messages about men’s mental health during Men’s Health Awareness Week. Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story. By raising awareness, encouraging open conversations, and reminding people that asking for help is a sign of strength, we can help break the stigma surrounding mental health. 💙
