✨ On Wednesday, we had the privilege of attending the Benefact Service of Celebration at St Paul’s Cathedral, celebrating an incredible milestone—over £250 million donated to charitable causes since 2014. 💙

The event featured wonderful performances, including a moving contribution from Vicky McClure’s Dementia Choir, led by Craig Mather, and a stunning performance from The Royal Ballet School.

We also had the opportunity to hear from Julie Kent MBE, JB Gill, and Natasha Kaplinsky OBE, who shared powerful stories about the impact of charitable giving and community support and gave their thanks.

It was truly inspiring to learn more about the Benefact family and to witness the remarkable work of the many charities they have supported over the years. We are grateful to have been part of such a special celebration of generosity, compassion, and positive change.

🌟 Welcoming Our New Trustees to CAPE 🌟
We are delighted to welcome Ayesha Ikram and Michael Falzon to CAPE’s Board of Trustees.
Ayesha brings over 17 years of experience across the NHS, public health, and the voluntary sector, alongside expertise in coaching, leadership development, technology, and AI. Her passion for compassionate, person-centred services and strong governance will be a valuable asset as CAPE continues to grow and innovate.
Michael joins us with deep roots in Ealing, having spent much of his career supporting some of the borough’s most vulnerable residents. With over a decade managing services at St Mungo’s, he brings extensive experience in community support, partnership working, and helping people live fulfilled lives.
Both Ayesha and Michael share CAPE’s commitment to dignity, inclusion, recovery, and community wellbeing. We are excited to benefit from their knowledge, experience, and passion as we continue making a positive impact together.
Please join us in giving them a very warm welcome! 💜

As Mental Health Awareness Week comes to a close, our CEO Angela shares an important reminder about this year’s theme: small actions 💚

Sometimes the smallest actions can make the biggest difference to our mental wellbeing whether that’s taking a walk, checking in with a friend, taking a break, or simply being kinder to yourself.

We’d love to hear from you - what small action have you taken this week to support your mental wellbeing?

At Cape, we encourage everyone to take those small moments to look after themselves and to check in with the people around them.
