TechBikers

TechBikers Techbikers is a non-profit, bringing together the tech startup community around cycling to support children literacy in partnership with Room to Read.

Tech Bikers was born from Googleʼs Campus London, Google's first physical workspace for startups at the heart of East Londonʼs tech city. The brainchild of Eze Vidra, Techbikers is a collaboration of the startup community, creating strong bonds amongst members of the ecosystem while making a big impact for children in the developing world. Since inception in 2012, Techbikers has managed to raise $

400,000 in the past four years which resulted in a big impact for 7,000 kids in the developing world:
4 schools constructed in Nepal
9 libraries established in India, Nepal, Cambodia, and Bangladesh
10 Literacy Instruction programmes implemented in South Africa, Nepal, Cambodia, and Bangladesh
50 teachers trained in South Africa
300 girls supported through the Girls’ Education Programme in India
1 school reconstruction in Nepal, post-earthquake (in progress)

We aim to reach a million USD in 2016.
