Research suggests that during major football tournaments incidents of domestic abuse increase, regardless of the result.

Please remember that St Mark's Church holds walk-in sessions every Thursday from 9:00am–2:00pm at our Women's Project, offering confidential domestic abuse support and advice.

We also run our Welcome Club on Thursdays—a friendly space where anyone in the community can come along to enjoy activities, have some food, socialise, and access support. Advice is available on benefits, and we also have an on-site nurse.

Because many different services are available on the day, no one will know why you're attending. If you would like to talk privately, we have confidential office space where you can speak with someone in confidence. 🫶🏻
