Each year the Clockmakers Company presents a prize to the top ranked final exam student in each course at the British School of Watchmaking. Here the Master of the Company, Robert Wren FBHI is seen presenting the prize for watch servicing to Eddie Wong. James Nicholas who was not able to attend the presentation received the 3000 hour watchmakers certificate. Huge congratulations to both of these talented students.

Five years ago on board HMS Protector and Mathew (at the time a leading engineering rating) has fond memories of receiving this award from Court Assistant Capt Anthony Gray on behalf of the Clockmakers, with most of the ships company looking on. Matthews career has moved on and he is no longer in the Royal Navy but still has good memories of this event, and this shows the importance of these small awards, which live on as bright milestones in the lives of their recipients. Let’s continue to make happy memories for deserving people.
