Build your functional strength, mobility and bodyweight skill development using fundamental gymnastic strength skills on the floor, rings and bars. This class is for all levels - achieving your first chin-up, working on muscle-ups and ring routines or just generally wanting to become stronger, we’ll take you through the progressions to suit your ability and goals.
Hand balance
Handbalancing improves core strength, posture, strength, flexibility and coordination all at once, and it looks impressive! Using a systematic no-nonsense approach we’ll give you the tools to get upside down for the first time, move from the wall to freestanding and start making shapes. This class is suitable for beginners to intermediates.
Movement
Build mobility, strength, co-ordination and balance using primal movement and play. Training the body as a single unit gives you the ability to reconnect with your body, enhance your ability to move powerfully with ease and elegance and build a strong foundation which transfers not just to other types of training but also to your day to day life. This class is suitable for all levels of ability as there are many progressions which allow you to work at your own pace.
Mobility
Maintenance and developmental stretching using both passive and dynamic techniques, using full range of movement to safely improve your flexibility and build strength and control. We’ll be covering splits, pancake and bridge progressions, shoulder mobility for hand balancing, self myofacial release and injury prevention. Whether you want to improve your flexibility for your training or just for your general wellbeing, the class is suitable for all levels.
MoveCon
Intensive workout using fundamental movement and exercise techniques to increase your upper body, lower body and core strength for gymnastic strength, handbalancing and your overall fitness. This class is a great supplement to our GST and Handbalancing classes. Suitable for all levels.
Weighted Calisthenics
Using advanced strength strategies, we will apply them to bodyweight movements such as weighted chin-ups, dips, pistol squats, and lengthy ring routines. For the intermediate to advanced strength enthusiast. Pre-requisites: 5-10 Ring Dips, 5-10 Chin-ups with good form,
Self Care
Learn how to manage your own body using tools such as myofascial release, bodywork, trigger point therapy and stretches to help release muscle tension and pains. Suitable for all.
Power Yoga
Power Yoga draws on various disciplines and melds together a strong Vinyasa flow practice with mobility, stability, and strength-based exercises. Each class is unique in its structure, but students can expect to move, sweat, flex, and stretch throughout this hour class. Whether you're new to yoga, or a longtime practitioner, this class will test your physical and mental capabilities, and is an excellent complement to regular handbalancing and gymnastic strength training work.
Yoga - Restorative
Unlike Power and Flow, this class will help you unwind from your week and melt your mind and body. You'll feel relaxed, renewed, and refreshed as you're guided from one gentle posture to the next. No flow, simply letting go.
Yoga - Flow
Flow Yoga links together Hatha and Vinyasa practices, creating a soft, gentle flow that will make you feel great and get your body moving. The class is open to all levels, and if you struggle with flexibility, this will be a great class to make you feel more limber and light.
