Message to the GSF Philippines Team & Village Leaders from Greg Secker
Reflecting on 2025 Progress & Looking Forward
I want to take a moment to recognise, honour, and genuinely thank every single person involved in the Greg Secker Foundation Philippines for what has been achieved this year.
What stands out most to me in this report is not just the number of programs delivered, but the consistency, care, and continuity of support you’ve provided to the village and wider community.
Education as a Daily Commitment
The Education and Feeding Program alone reflects something deeply important to me: showing up every day for children who need structure, opportunity, and belief.
• Transporting 30 pupils every school day, morning and afternoon
• Delivering remedial and computer classes on weekends
• Running a Reading Camp to prepare children before the school year
• Partnering with Central Philippine University to blend online and face-to-face learning, while providing school supplies and sports equipment
This is not charity in the abstract.
This is practical, hands-on intervention that changes life trajectories.
Community Is More Than Infrastructure
I’m equally proud of the way the Foundation has invested in community connection and emotional wellbeing.
• Nearly 500 beneficiaries during Foundation Day and Blood Letting
• Couples Nights, youth team-building, and homeowner leadership activities
• Participation in municipal festivals and civic events, ensuring the village is integrated, visible, and respected
These moments matter. They build belonging, not dependency.
Mental Health & Human Dignity
The psychosocial interventions for men, women, and parents are especially meaningful to me.
Creating safe spaces to pause, breathe, heal, and share burdens—supported by psychologists and trained peer counsellors—shows a level of emotional intelligence and humanity that many foundations never reach.
This is how we support not just survival, but inner strength.
Youth, Energy, and the Future
From sports festivals to cultural dance participation, the youth programs clearly demonstrate something powerful:
when young people are seen, they rise.
You are not just keeping young people occupied—you are helping them discover identity, confidence, and pride.
Sustainability: The Right Direction
The work done on village maintenance, water systems, transport rehabilitation, and cleanliness reflects strong operational discipline.
But what excites me most is the strategic thinking around sustainability, particularly the Moringa Project.
The move toward:
• Expanding moringa planting and rehabilitation
• Developing processing, packaging, and product trials
• Exploring factory conversion and government partnerships
This shows the Foundation is thinking long-term, not just about aid—but about income generation, dignity, and independence.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The proposed 2026 framework is exactly the direction I want us heading:
• Leaner, more capable teams
• Clear roles between the Foundation and the Homeowners Association
• Community-led services with strong systems and documentation
• Sustainable projects that can fund the mission into the future
This is how foundations mature.
This is how villages thrive without reliance.

Final Words
What you have built in 2025 is not just a list of activities—it is proof of care, leadership, and belief in people.
I am deeply proud of this work.
Proud of the discipline.
Proud of the compassion.
And proud of the direction you are taking this Foundation.
Let’s carry this momentum forward—not just to do more, but to do things better, smarter, and more sustainably, while never losing the heart that made this village possible in the first place.
Thank you for protecting the vision, serving with integrity, and proving that real impact is built one day, one child, one family at a time.
