Sharing career opportunities and celebrating our student community's successes, we provide support enhancing students’ study experience and help build lifelong friendships! The Bartlett Urban Planning Society's objective is to support students studying at UCL's Bartlett School of Planning to enjoy their time at university, broaden there knowledge of the sector and fulfil there future potential. We fund and organise social and careers events, trips, debates, talks and study workshops, alongside communicating careers and internship information. We also send a weekly email newsletter to all students.

Welcome Week at BSP, through our camera roll 📸💚

From student ideas to Shanghai’s regeneration and London’s riverside, here’s a look at how we started the term:

🎓 City of Many Minds: an exhibition by MSc Urban Design and City Planning students, mapping connections between people, place and culture, alongside a panel of guest speakers.

🎤 A guest lecture with Dr Peng Cheng exploring Shanghai’s urban regeneration and what we can learn by looking across cities.

⛴️ A boat tour along the Thames, with our lecturers and experts in the field guiding us through London’s planning history, architecture and changing skyline.

It’s been lovely seeing new and familiar faces together. Here’s to more ideas, conversations and exploring the city this year 🌿

Join us this Thursday for a special talk with Dr Peng Cheng from the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, exploring Shanghai’s approach to urban regeneration, sustainability and development and how it compares with cities such as London.

BUPS End of Year Party is here 🪩🍾
It’s been such a great academic year together so to end it on a high note come join us at Tamesis Dock, Albert Embankment (Vauxhall) on Thursday 7 May, 4:30–7:30pm for our End of Year party - Club Night edition.

Expect music, drinks, in-house catering and access to the outside deck.

Free entry, but tickets are required and spaces are limited - grab yours via Eventbrite in our bio.
