Heathrow is planning a new arrivals flight path (called "IPA flight paths") over Paddington, Bayswater and Notting Hill from 2021 irrespective of the third runway going ahead. Arrival aircraft will be concentrated in the early mornings with around 18 flights between 6am and 7am and then an average of 6 flights per hour until 11pm. Aircraft will be on a very low landing path, only 2000ft to 3000ft above our heads. This compares to the noise a vacuum cleaner makes 1m away. Sign our petition to request Heathrow to run a one week trial of the new flight path before the formal consultation starts. This way we can ensure everyone becomes aware of the noise implications of the newly proposed flight path. We deserve a chance to understand what the proposed flight path changes will mean to us and our neighbourhood.
