Today, Tuesday 14th April 2026, we received another amazing collection from 🙌

This beautiful surplus food was delivered straight to our Turpington Lane beneficiaries, helping to support families and individuals within our community.

We are truly grateful and blessed to be in a position where we can collect and redistribute this produce to those who need it most. Every collection makes a real difference 💚

We would like to say a huge thank you to for this week’s incredible food donations 🙏🏾

Your support made such a difference to our food banks — from Tuesday at Turpington Lane Community Centre to today at Queen Adelaide Community Centre. Because of you, so many families were able to take home much-needed food, and the smiles said it all 💛

It truly went a long way, and we are so grateful to be able to collect from The Felix Project and continue supporting our community together.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the The Felix Project for this week’s incredible food donations 🙏🏾

Trust me when I say — don’t throw away your fruit and vegetables.

With a little creativity, surplus fruit and veg can be turned into something really delicious instead of going to waste.

Tonight we had a lot of carrots left over from the pantry, so rather than letting them sit there and spoil, we thought about how we could use them in a new way.

The result? Apple & Carrot Crumble with homemade custard. 🥕🍎

The apples and carrots were kindly donated to us by , and instead of them going to waste, they became a warm dessert for the table. Even the milk we used for the custard was due to go off tomorrow — so it was the perfect time to use it.

A great reminder that surplus food still has so much life in it — sometimes it just takes a little imagination.

We’ll also be putting together a Seasoned & Saiged recipe book, filled with creative ways to use surplus ingredients. It will be available soon as an e-book for you to purchase, so keep an eye out — watch this space!

🌿 Another Tuesday Collection Success! 🌿

A big thank you to for today’s collection — we’re always so grateful for the variety of products and fresh produce we receive 💚

It’s such a blessing to hand out a wide range of food to our community members each week. Today even included baby milk — which was a surprise — but it didn’t stay long! It went straight to a family who needed it.

Nothing sits. Everything serves a purpose.

These collections will support families at our Turpington Lane Community Centre and Queen Adelaide Community Centre in Penge, helping us continue to provide consistent, meaningful support.

As we grow, we’re now looking to strengthen our pantry reserves. If you’re able to donate non-perishable items or toiletries, we would be incredibly grateful.

We are also welcoming volunteers to support with collections, sorting and distribution. If you’d like to get involved and be part of something that truly makes a difference, please reach out.

Together, we keep this moving.

We’re in Pret every other day collecting, and our community members are always so grateful for what they receive — it truly makes a difference to their day-to-day lives.

💚 Another Amazing Collection from Gail’s Bakery Beckenham! 💚

A huge thank you, thank you, thank you to Beckenham for these delicious loaves and beautiful sweet treats. 🥖✨

We were so happy to be able to hand these out to members of our local community, who were incredibly grateful for the fresh bread and goodies received. Moments like this truly remind us why we do what we do. 💚

And nothing goes to waste — any surplus we’re unable to distribute is passed straight into Ltd, where it’s transformed into amazing arts and crafts materials, continuing the journey from surplus to purpose. 🌱

This collection was shared between Turpington Lane Community Centre and Queen Adelaide Community Centre, helping support families and individuals across both locations.
