Loneliness Awareness Week 💛
Many older people experience loneliness, especially after retirement, bereavement, or changes in health and mobility. Age UK Richmond helps local older people stay connected through our Wellbeing Services, our three social and wellbeing centres, community activities, coffee mornings, events, telephone friendship service, and support to help people join local groups and activities with confidence. These services help build friendships, reduce isolation, and strengthen community connections.

Why not start a simple conversation with someone today and remind them they're not alone? We're here to help.

Worried about rising utility bills? We may be able to help.

Following Ofgem’s recent announcement of a 13% increase in utility bills, many older people may be feeling worried about the impact on their household finances.

If you are over State Pension age and live in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Age UK Richmond is here to support you.

Our team can help you check that you are receiving all the benefits you may be entitled to, explore grants and other sources of financial support, and assist with utility bill issues.

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. From serving as Trustees and helping to govern our organisation, to supporting older people in a wide range of roles, each and every volunteer makes a valuable difference.

We are hugely grateful for their dedication, compassion and commitment. Thank you for all that you do!
