Good Night Out Campaign

Good Night Out Campaign An international campaign working with licensed premises to deal with tackle and prevent the harassment of women and LGBT+ people on nights out.

Good Night Out Campaign is an independent international initiative dedicated to raising awareness of sexual harassment and helping the nighttime economy address, deal with, tackle and prevent this issue through a poster campaign and specialist training. Sexism, Good Night Out is a totally independent team of organisers and trainers passionate about making nights out safer for all, and active worldwide. We work in partnership with councils, licensing teams, women’s groups and charities across the country to deliver training, consultation and support. We developed and delivered training for Southwark Council’s landmark Women’s Safety Charter, alcohol awareness charity Drinkaware, and Kingston Upon Thames Council in partnership with the Met Police. Our work has been featured on BBC, The Guardian, Evening Standard, NME, Dazed Magazine and many more.

This International Women’s Day we’re reflecting on the impact of military aggression perpetrated in the name of colonial and imperial expansion upon women, girls and people of marginalised genders. Those who bear the brunt of brutality, displacement and sexual violence as a weapon of war.

Across the globe the right to life, freedom and justice has been systematically eroded through state subjugation and aggression. Today we salute the organisations and collectives who are resisting by whichever means they can: Women for Refugee Women, Watermelon Sisters, Feminists for Jina, London for Sudan, Sisters Uncut to name a few.

We urge you to engage in collective action in whichever shape or form participation looks like for you. Liberation is not just a necessary desire but an active endeavour, and it is our combined efforts that will bring it into being at long last.

Have you read Safer States, our free harm reduction and drug education guide? ✨

This collaborative project between the Good Night Out Campaign, Release, Safe Only and the Love Tank aims to challenge stigma and support UK nightlife to get real about safer drug use.

Drugs are a part of nightlife. They always have been, and whether you use them or not, they aren’t going anywhere. It’s high time we got informed. 🙌

Safer States is for anyone who uses drugs now, may do so in the future, or cares about those in their community who do. We’ve cut through the noise to bring you the most accurate information, informed by science, evidence and a commitment to respect, autonomy and care.

Filmed across Autumn 2025, our documentary ‘A Few Good People: Building Safer Nightlife Worldwide’ follows three people shaping care and violence prevention from the grassroots up: Kripi Malviya, a psychotherapist and veteran festival welfare worker based in Goa, India; Shamima, a sexual violence response specialist in Singapore; and Amalia, a nightlife organiser in Arctic Norway running Klubb Tarabb, a grassroots event platform for SWANA artists. 🌍

Together, their stories trace the challenges and creativity emerging from the Safer Nightlife International. As each organiser shares their expertise, the film asks: what could be possible when we open-source our resources and share the tools we build to support, inspire, and sustain one another? 🤝

‘A Few Good People’ will be screened for the first time at our party at next week. To join us there, RSVP for free at the link in bio 🎞️
