What a week it was under the Chelsea sun (and rain! 🌦️).

We are still pinch-inducing levels of proud to look back at the Lady Garden Foundation’s ‘Silent No More’ Garden on Main Avenue at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026. From the incredible praise by icons of the horticultural world to the vital conversations started right on the garden paths - it was a truly unforgettable experience.

The Reality Behind the Garden 👇

While the gates of Chelsea have officially closed, the message behind our garden remains as urgent as ever. Our 2026 YouGov survey revealed some sobering truths about gynaecological health in the UK:

🚨 Only 1% of UK adults can name all five gynaecological cancers - yet they take the lives of 21 women every single day.

🚨31% of women put off seeking medical advice for symptoms due to fear of embarrassment, pain, or discomfort.

🚨43% of women face barriers to attending life-saving cervical screenings.

🚨Only 11% of young adults leave school having ever been taught about HPV.

The ‘Silent No More’ Garden was built to smash the taboos and get people talking. We cannot let the silence creep back in.

Only 2 days until one of our favourite events in Lady Garden Calendar - the Family Challenge! 🤍

Seeing generations of families come together - grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sons, and partners - is exactly what this charity is about. We are walking and running to protect the future of the women we love.

With 21 women a day still losing their lives to gynaecological cancers in the UK, every step we take this weekend is a step toward a world where no one is silent about this disease.

June is Womb cancer awareness month.
 
Womb (uterine) cancer is the 4th most common cancer in UK women - yet a lot of us know little to nothing about it.  
 
For Womb Cancer Awareness Month, we are stripping away the awkwardness and sharing the vital facts every person with a womb needs to know.

When caught early at Stage 1, womb cancer is highly treatable, with a 90%+ survival rate. But we can only catch it early if we know what we’re looking for.

Why do students matter in the fight against gynaecological cancers? Because education and awareness are our greatest tools for prevention — and prevention has to start early 🌱

University is the exact moment young people step into healthcare independence. If we get the knowledge, language and confidence right at this stage, it can last a lifetime.

Our student ambassadors give so much to this cause, so we wanted to give something back. And one thing Lady Garden has that no one else does? A community of leaders, that span across sectors, who care about this mission. 💛

So we set up in the House of Commons and spent the afternoon connecting our ambassadors with those leaders: the event included honest career conversations and brilliant advice on how to break into our ambassadors’ dream careers. It was a celebration of the students who make this programme what it is, and a chance for our supporters to meet them face to face. As well as this, our Ambassador Seren shared what it’s really like to be part of the Lady Garden community. 👏

From Oxford Street to Westminster, our message is moving through the city exactly as intended: bold, public and impossible to ignore.

Subtle? Not really. Necessary? Absolutely.

In the Garden with 🌸

What a beautiful, candid, honest conversation we had with the brilliant Beverley Knight.

Her passion for the cause - and for women’s health - really shone through as she discussed her advice to women, men getting involved, and, very bravely, her hysterectomy.

Her openness is admirable. Thank you for talking with us Beverley, we hope by having these discussions out in the open - that we can empower other women to do the same. 💜
