THE LORD’S DWELLING

13th August, 2025

READ: Psalm 84:1-4

Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

Psalm 26:8

Those who love God love His house! David said clearly, “I love the habitation of your house.” The NIV says it even more clearly: “LORD, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells” (Psalm 26:8, NIV). Loving the house of God is a sure sign that you love the Lord.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Psalm 84:10

*If you love the Lord, you will love spending the whole day in His presence.* No amount of time will be too long to spend in church. It is because you do not love the Lord that you find church services long. It is because you do not love the Lord that you can watch a series on television for hours and hours. It is the television series and the movies that you love! If you love the Lord, you will prefer to be in His house than to be anywhere else.

King David did everything in his power to build the church (1 Chronicles 29:3). If you love the Lord, you will build His house. If you love the Lord, you will give so that His house can be built. If you love the Lord, you will help missionaries who are trying to build His house. If you love the Lord, you will support any effort to build the church. If you love the Lord, you will do the work of a shepherd to help to build up the congregation. Building up the congregation is building the house of God. Lovers of God are always lovers of his house. Lovers of God are always builders of His house.

READ: 1 Samuel 1:1-20

Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

1 Samuel 1:13

Many people suffer from a mysterious form of barrenness. Barrenness is mysterious when the cause is unclear. What is the mysterious cause of my fruitlessness? What am I missing? Why is my church not growing? Why is my ministry not developing? Why is it that everything I start and do is not blooming and flourishing as I expect? There are many times you cannot easily find the cause of barrenness and unfruitfulness.

In medical science, there are many cases of barrenness where the cause is uncertain. Indeed, sometimes doctors are happy to just find a reason for the barrenness. Hannah is a good example of a mysteriously barren ministry that became fruitful. She is one of the great examples of someone who broke out of the power of barrenness and became very fruitful.

The key to breaking out of mysterious barrenness is intercession prayers, where you go into the mysterious spirit realm and obtain the solution and an answer. When you speak in tongues you speak mysteries to God! Speaking in tongues causes you to address mysteries with mysteries. The great key that Hannah demonstrated was again the key of intercession. Great ministries are born out of intercession.

Hannah was a barren ministry. Hannah was in serious trouble. She desperately needed a breakthrough. She did not just doodle and dawdle. To doodle and dawdle means “To hang around, loiter, to waste time and to make wavy impressions”. She was dead serious about what she wanted from God. Dear pastor, fervent prayer will make you give birth to a new dimension in ministry. Intercession will always lead to new spiritual children.

MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS

READ: Ephesians 4:7-16

But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:15-16 (NASB)

Withdrawal is the first thing that happens to weaken the offended person. Relationships are the greatest source of inputs and strength for a believer. When you withdraw, you cut yourself off from your source of power, strength and wisdom. Notice how God considers our relationships as a source of supply. You are who you are by the supplies that come from every joint in your life.

When relationships created by God to bless and strengthen you are destroyed, your weaknesses and hollowness will soon be revealed. When people leave churches, they become ghosts and phantoms of what they were called to be. They were destined for greatness but crashed to the ground because they cut themselves off from their blessings, strengths and supplies.

Many wars were lost because the supplies to the soldiers did not reach them. If you send one million soldiers to war, you must have supplies for these men. They will be hungry every day! They will be thirsty every day! They will be sick every day! You will need to supply all their needs every day!

When Hi**er sent out millions of soldiers to attack the Soviet Union, he had to supply them with food and clothing to keep them alive. In the end, the distances involved and the difficulties on the ground made it impossible to continue sending supplies. Many of the soldiers perished from cold and hunger. They were soundly defeated because they lacked the necessary supplies to survive the winter in Russia.

Do you want to be soundly defeated in battle? If you want to survive your battles you must stay connected and maintain the supplies of wisdom, guidance and counsel God has given you. Maintain your essential relationships! Do not cut off the very pipeline that supplies you with water.

OVERCOMING A CRISIS
10th June, 2025

READ: James 3:12-18

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:17

Here are scriptural keys to help you to overcome every crisis you face in your life.

1. Do what is pure, chaste, uncorrupted and unpolluted and you will come out of your crisis by the wisdom of God. Doing something impure and corrupted will only take you deeper into trouble.

2. Do what is peaceful, non-aggressive, calm, non-violent and you will come out on top of your crisis. Being aggressive and violent will only take you deeper into crisis.

3. Be gentle, mild, kind, tender and moderate and you will come out of your crisis and calamity unscathed. Rushing into things without duly thinking about the implications will get you into more crises.

4. Be easy to be entreated, easy to plead with, easy to beg and easy to implore, easy to change your mind and you will be doing the right thing that will take you out of your crisis. Being stubborn, difficult to reason with, having long meetings is a sign of a lack of wisdom.

5. Be merciful, forgiving, gracious, lenient and generous and you will escape from the crisis without being harmed.

6. Take a decision to bear much fruit, produce a good harvest, have great results and you will come out of your crisis.

7. Be fair, impartial, unbiased, objective, open-minded, reasonable and you will overcome every crisis you find yourself in.

8. Be without hypocrisy and you will overcome every crisis you find yourself in.

FLESHLY OR SPIRITUAL?
5th June, 2025

READ: Jude 1:14-25

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man;

Ephesians 3:16

Enlargement will not come by developing the flesh. Perhaps, a stronger body and a healthier life will come by developing the flesh.

People who develop the flesh become body builders. They give themselves to health walks and health talks. They give themselves to the gym, to athletics, to exercise and to everything that will make them healthy and strong. Such people are constantly on one diet or another. Today, they eat eggs without egg yolk and on another occasion they have Macdonald’s hamburgers with ice-cold water. Such people are always drinking diet coke and watching their weight.

Those who emphasize on the flesh spend a lot of time on make-up and also doing their hair. The flesh dominates Christians whose lives are filled with these fleshly activities. You cannot achieve much enlargement in God by becoming fleshly.

*Enlargement will come to those who become spiritual. People who give themselves to the Spirit become spiritual. Give yourself to the spirit world by giving yourself to the word of God and to prayer.*

You become spiritual by developing the inner man - the hidden spirit within you, with the word of God. You become spiritual by becoming stronger in the inner man. Instead of emphasizing on the outward man, you must emphasize on the inner man. Your spirit feeds on the word of God.

As you feed on the word of God through audio and video messages, your spirit grows bigger. As your spirit grows bigger, it dominates your life. As you can see from the scripture below, the spirit man can actually grow.

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

1 Peter 2:2

You become spiritual by developing the inner man and praying in tongues (Jude 1:20).

GOOD FOOD

READ: 2 Peter 1:17-21

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Psalm 119:130

Salt makes food acceptable, tasty and palatable! The food we have to give is the word of God. A believer is to make the word of God more palatable. The world cannot receive the word of God because it is often difficult to understand and difficult to believe.

You are the salt of the earth, so make the word of God acceptable by preaching properly. When you preach well, people understand what you are saying and light and understanding are imparted to them. It is important the word of God enters people.

You are the salt of the earth, so make the word of God acceptable by showing how the prophecies from the word of God have come to pass.

Jesus Christ fulfilled many scriptures when He walked among us. Everything about Jesus was written hundreds of years before He lived. It was predicted that He would die amongst thieves and be buried with the rich. Jesus fulfilled the little details concerning His own death and burial. Many Jews have turned to Christ because of the irrefutable evidence from their own Holy Book. Fulfilled prophecies help to make the Bible more palatable.

I became more interested in the Bible as I saw the prophecies and predictions coming to pass. God’s Word is amazing! One day I saw a young lady fulfilling a prophecy in the book of James. I was amazed that she had fulfilled the scripture to the uttermost. I have watched rebellious people fulfil scriptures time and time again. I have watched ungrateful and disloyal people magically fulfil the scriptures. Each time, I have been amazed at how true the word of God is. When you point out to people how true scriptures are, it helps them to receive the Bible as an awesome book.

ARE YOU A SEED?
2nd June, 2025

READ: Matthew 13:31-38

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

Isaiah 60:22

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Matthew 13:31-32

The kingdom of heaven is based on the principle of a little seed that grows into something much much bigger than the seed. You come out from a little seed that is not even visible to the eye. That little seed has grown into this huge human being that you are today. It seems there is no correlation between whom God calls and what he becomes.

You are the little seed that is going to grow into 1000 micro churches. Have faith in God! Do not look at your current size. God does not do things in proportion to your size. Looking at yourself will not help you. It will only kill your faith. Look at the promises of the word of God. The seed is going to become a mighty tree.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, EXCEPT A CORN OF WHEAT FALL INTO THE GROUND and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

John 12:24

Jesus Christ metamorphosed into millions of churches. Jesus was a seed that became a worldwide church. Right here we see Jesus giving the principle that a person is actually a seed and a seed has the potential of metamorphosing into something much bigger. You can abide alone but you are capable of being converted into something much bigger. It is your turn to be metamorphosed into thousands of churches.

WHAT IS FORNICATION?

READ: 1 Corinthians 6: 18-20

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:13

Fornication is a sin that harms your body. Perhaps this is why many diseases are released to the human race through s*xual in*******se. Many diseases are released against God’s servants because of their sin of fornication. Many lives are cut short because of fornication.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

1 Corinthians 10:8

Fornication is prevented by a personal revelation, through your personal efforts. Your efforts to fight fornication must be fierce and resolute. If you do not fight extremes with extremes, you will only have yourself to blame.

That EVERY ONE OF YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO POSSESS HIS VESSEL in sanctification and honour; not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

1 Thessalonians 4:4-5

Fornication is prevented by having a good marriage (1 Corinthians 7:2-3). Unfortunately, many Christians get married and do not have s*x. This effort by satan to prevent couples from having s*x, neutralizes the power that marriage has to prevent fornication.

God is dishonoured through your fornication. It is not a wise thing to despise God. He that despises God will be lightly esteemed by God! (1 Samuel 2:30).

Fornication and adultery will provoke God to revenge for those who have been robbed (1 Thessalonians 4:4-8). Be careful of falling into the wrath of God. God will destroy you practically because you have defrauded your Christian brother.

*DIVINE NATURE*

23rd May, 2025

READ: Ephesians 4:22-32

For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

2 Peter 1:4 (NASB)

*Now that you are in Christ, you are expected to partake of the divine nature of God.* Human beings are known to have a very evil nature. The evil nature of man is described in Romans 1 and 2 Timothy 3. Man has become depraved, perverse and wicked. You can expect even more wickedness in the last days as we approach the apocalyptic and cataclysmic conclusion of this world. *When you come to Jesus, God gives you a new nature. If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, and all things are become new!*

Apostle Paul teaches us to put on the nature of the new man. This new creation has a whole lot of new characteristics:

a) Instead of deception the new man is full of truth.

b) Instead of perpetual and unrelenting anger, the new man will have anger that lasts for a short time.

c) Instead of stealing, there will be hard work.

d) Instead of opening the door to the devil in many ways, all the entrances to demons will be shut tight.

e) Instead of continually grieving the Holy Spirit, you will be continually pleasing the Holy Spirit.

f) Instead of bitterness there will be forgiveness and love!

*You must become a partaker of this amazing divine nature.* Many Christians are full of bitterness, anger, deception, lies and wickedness. They open the door to demons continually. They have tasted of Christianity but have not become partakers of the divine nature. Becoming a partaker of the divine nature means that your nature has been blended into the character of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is full of love, patience and forgiveness. You will be full of love, patience and forgiveness when you become a partaker of the divine nature.
