The HCO is a new ensemble that gives senior Highgate pupils the opportunity to play with ex-pupils, together with current and former members of staff, as well as local professional and non-professional musicians - a true community collaboration! Established in 2012 by Jonathan Murphy, Deputy Director of Music at Highgate School, the Highgate Community Orchestra and Choir is a platform for those in

the Highgate Community with a shared interest and passion for music. Bringing together musicians of all ages and abilities for rehearsals and performances several times a year, the HCO and HCC provides the opportunity to play alongside seminal figures in the contemporary classical music scene, including Leonard Elschenbroich, Nicola Benedetti and Graham Waterhouse.
