An upbeat and optimistic series of business sessions at CLIA Conference today, rounded off with a bustling networking trade fair.

We heard:

🙋‍♀️ Bud Darr, President and CEO of CLIA, reveal 90% of cruise guests will sail again, while 3/4 of people who have never cruised are open to a holiday at sea. Meanwhile, 89 new ships are currently on order
📈 84% of delegates say their cruise business is up. 43% agreed that ocean cruises are the best performing of all holiday sectors at the moment
🚢 There’s currently a wealth of sales opportunities; guests still want to cruise and are ringfencing their savings to allow them to do so

“Continue to invest in your training and learning, and get onboard including going on full sailings whenever you can. Weave your own personal experiences into it - and then the magic happens.”

A high energy start to CLIA Conference season yesterday, with both a New to Selling Cruise Day and a bike ride in aid of the Family Holiday Charity taking place. Thanks to all colleagues who took part 🙏

Onwards to today’s conference business sessions and networking trade fair 💫 We’re looking forward to catching up with over 800 colleagues from across the trade! 👋🏻
