We are a small friendly club, who meet on the third Friday of each month to enjoy talks by a variety of speakers, including Paul Atterbury and Judith Miller from the ‘Roadshow’.

Hello Antique Lovers what an incredible Summer we are having, World Cup, Wimbledon, Cricket!!! Thank goodness for the ‘record’ ’ option.
And what an incredible line up of Speakers we have enjoyed from Royal Heraldry to Paul Atterbury on Art of the Train so many varied topics something for everyone. Last month we welcomed Ellen Owen who told us all about ‘The Ritz’ with its rich history.
Really interesting.
Which brings me our Meeting on 17/7.
This is our AGM, giving members a voice for suggestions moving forward. This is an important meeting the Committee put so much effort into running the club we would appreciate feedback.
This will be followed by a silent auction. Bring along things you would like to sell. Clearly mark your item with your name the minimum you will accept and let battle commence!!!! Always a fun evening.
So looking forward to seeing you all before we break for the Sumner.
Enrolment will be 18th September

Hello Antique Lovers!!
Well, it’s flaming June haven’t put my brolly down yet.😢
I really hope you enjoyed Ann Willmore’s Quiz last month. So good of her to return with another collection of items for us to puzzle over. Great fun and surprise answers too!!!
Next month 17/7 it’s the AGM and a silent auction always popular

This month on 19/6 we are welcoming Ellen Owen who’s talk is entitled:-
Putting on the Ritz.
This conjures up all sorts doesn’t it?
So come along and join us. You can pay on the door £6 and that includes refreshments. Such great value.

Hello Antique Lovers, almost Spring let’s hope a few blue skies instead of this constant rain. I really enjoyed last months Speaker Gary Lewis on Blue Plaques who would have thought so many famous people were within our midst.
This month is the highlight of the year !!!!!!
On 20/2 a dear old friend returns,
Yes PAUL ATTERBURY from the Roadshow is back!!! This time his talk is entitled:-
Rail Steam and Speed, Art of the Train.
So looking forward to this as I’m sure you are. He travels all the way from Weymouth just to speak at our club.
Come one, come all
You can pay on the door if you are not a member £8 which includes refreshments.
Honestly what value, a night to remember.
I look forward to welcoming you.
