Dave, Rich, Simon (Eddie) and Dave are currently on a 1,000+ mile cycle from Spain back to the UK in support of their friend Paul, who has recently been diagnosed with neurosarcoidosis. Thank you!

This mega route will take them through Spain and France, climbing almost 40,000 feet! We're wishing them the best of luck as they raise vital awareness of sarcoidosis across Europe 💙

Do you live near one of our red pins and have an hour or two a month to spare? We'll be here to help you and provide you with all of the support needed to run a group.

If you would be interested in getting a support group started in your area, we'd love to hear from you. Send us an email at [email protected]!

Dandelions have been popping up all over the place in the last few weeks, but have you ever wondered why the SarcoidosisUK logo features a dandelion?

The dandelion in our logo represents the person (you) and the wind represents sarcoidosis. It highlights the different ways that sarcoidosis can affect people. For some, the sarcoidosis wind blows softly, leaving the dandelion intact. For others, the wind blows more strongly, causing far more damage. And there are those for whom the wind blows through completely and these blown away seeds represent the remaining thoughts and impressions the person has left on the world.

It reminds us every day that the sarcoidosis wind is blowing and we must work together to support any affected by sarcoidosis.

Our Support Services Officer found this dandelion on her lunchtime walk, if you see a dandelion this bank holiday weekend, we'd love to see! Snap a photo and tag us in it to help spread awareness of sarcoidosis 📸
