City of London & North East Sector Army Cadets Welcome to the City of London and North East Sector Army Cadet Force – aka COLNES for short! Hey!

We're the Army Cadets, we have Detachments across The City and North East London. A youth organisation for those 12 to 18 years of age, all are welcome. Our posts are for information and to raise the profile of the hard work Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers do in their spare time. On Saturdays event at Cadets from the sectors Corps drums attended a ceremony with Order of St George. The 4 cadets were awarded a medal, a certificate of service and £50 each. The Corps of Drums were also given £500 towards their funds to support the continuation and growth of the Corps. Thank you so much to the order of St George For it's rigorous and ongoing support.

25 PWRR were honoured to welcome the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers to the Detachment as they visited to observe them during consideration for formal affiliation.

We were especially proud to see Mrs Nicole Brocklebank-Fowler, Master of the Company, present two 1star passes to Cadets Olara and Brennan, alongside two Jack Petchey Awards to Cadets Grainger and Thai.

A fantastic achievement for our cadets and a memorable day for the whole detachment — well done all! ”
