A big thank you to all the constituents who took part in today’s discussion on park home ownership.

It was an engaging and wide-ranging conversation, and I’m very grateful to everyone who shared their experiences and highlighted the unique challenges faced by park home residents.

There was clear agreement that the 10% site commission fee should be abolished and I will now be writing to the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government to convey the strength of feeling on this issue.

I will also be urging Ministers to ensure that the views of park home residents in Doncaster North are fully reflected in the Government’s consultation on reform of the park home sector.

Where possible, residents with park home problems should contact LEASE, the FREE Government sponsored advisory service that has been set up for park home residents.
